Service Description
IHM is a part of the ancient healing system of Ayurveda and has been practiced for thousands of years. It is a part of everyday family life in India with the tradition & techniques being passed down through the generations. The aim of the treatment is to release tension, ease stress & promote relaxation leaving you with an enhanced feeling of wellbeing, vitality and calm. This treatment can be carried out through light clothing so there is no need to undress. No oil is used in this case. If you would like an oil based massage it will be necessary to remove your clothing from the waist up but your modesty will be protected with a large towel. Treatment is delivered in a chair and includes the arms from the elbows up, the upper back from the bottom of the shoulder blades; the shoulders & neck and the head & face. Length of treatment is 30 minutes. A detailed holistic client specific consultation will be completed prior to delivering the treatment. This enables Jo to the determine the optimum treatment programme to achieve your desired outcomes.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life can sometimes ‘get in the way of plans’ therefore, should you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking with Meliorate I politely request that changes are made 48 hours prior to the time of your booking. Bookings may be rescheduled twice with no penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to the time of your booking will incur a 50% charge of the service fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the time of your booking will incur a 100% charge of the service fee.
