Meditation Soundbaths.
Relax: Rebalance: Restore…
A Soundbath (in it’s most basic description) is an immersion in sound and resonance from various instruments.
The sounds are heard by the ears & brain and the resonance or vibration of the instruments is felt within the body.
The theory is that energy waves (sound or otherwise) or frequencies connect with the body on the corresponding level and help to reset or align energies and rebalance frequencies within the body to facilitate healing.
In short, it’s purpose is to relax you; rebalance or realign you and leave you feeling restored with an enhanced sense of wellbeing and a deep feeling of calm.

In the Soundbaths hosted by Meliorate Jo plays crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes and a selection of other percussion instruments to guide you on a journey through sound energy to deeply soothe your nervous system and experience peace & calm.
Each crystal singing bowl is tuned to the frequency of one of the corresponding seven main chakras and the four Koshi chimes are named after the four elements in the universe - Air, Fire, Water & Earth.
Attendees have reported various experiences including seeing colours throughout the session; travelling through places; feeling a release of emotion; a reduction in chronic pain; relief from headaches and nausea; relief from period cramps but the one universal feeling reported is that of feeling calm and well rested.
Please watch the video clip below to give you an idea of what a Soundbath is.
